Been here for a while I guess

So, apparently I've now been here for 7 years (well, a few days ago mind)
Neat.
This place has changed a lot over the times. I am still sad over the death of ib/ the forums to a degree. Used to keep up to date constantly in here.

I'm at least glad the site has a Discord which is pretty active.

But yeah as much as I lurk it's kinda depressing to see one new topic every blue moon. I could make new topics myself but I'm not very interesting and have nothing to talk about.

I miss forum culture in general. GAF is dead, clans are dead, comment sections are being shutdown. Twitter and Tumblr are these highly aggressive, hyper-reactive echo chambers where everyone makes the same joke 12 different ways, and discussion is never more than surface level.

I remember when SD had half a dozen active topics a day with thousand word retorts, that was bloody fun. Maybe I'm just old though. Merry Christmas.
