To refer to humans with different colored skin as being of different races is pretty racist as well.No it isn't.
Well, human race classification is pretty far from being politically correct, seeing how it has some affiliations with the nazi mindset and excusing genocide, slavery etc. Which is why words like "ethnic group" and such are used instead.
Making a distinction based on skin color(that isn't the only difference and if you think race is purely a social construct you're wrong) doesn't necessarily mean that you think you're better than that person.
I'm also not going to bother replying to the retard who only uses half of a meaning of a word.
[edit]
Making a distinction isn't racist(you argue that it's incorrect or arbitrary to make such a distinction if you want. I'd probably agree with you a bit since I believe that classifying someone by ethnic group would far more accurate), but if you subscribe to the notion that race classification is false, why do you use the term "racism", not a more broad term like, I don't know "discrimination"?
Edit: Screwed up before.
All I'm saying is that if you were to use the word "race" as a word for seperating people of different ethnic group (or different colors of skin) in an official context, people wouldn't react very well. If not racist then at least they'd consider you ignorant and crude.

Okay...Did you qote me without adding or changing anything?
@opanhiyu
rac·ism
[rey-siz-uhm]
noun
1.
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2.
a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3.
hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
What would be the point of declaring one time of clarification "racist and bigoted", but another one totally okay if they're both meant to do the same thing. I mean fuck, people treat other people like due to age, gender, religion, etc. etc. Does that mean that those types of classification shouldn't exist, since that was literally your only explanation as to why it was bad.

who the fuck is opanhiyu, zucr773?
"usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others." that's more like nazism.
"hatred or intolerance of another race or other races."
racial discrimination brah. Racism doesn't necessarily encompass hatred/annoyance.
Racism basically starts when you're categorizing peeps in biological groups like race.
what the fuck cruz, i was just about to bash you
edit: though your edit has a good point.
Cruz man I pretty much see where you're coming from. So like there was no need to get all crossline about it.

The exact definition of racism is controversial both because there is little scholarly agreement about the meaning of the concept "race"
