[color=#006FFF]I don't have a smartphone or anything like that, so I don't have anything other than Unlimited Texting on it, with calls, haha. I do plan on getting an iPhone next year though. o:

I like being able to jump online whenever I want to pass time. Although only Facebook works properly on a phone.

[color=#006FFF]Think of it as an iPad if anything. I have the Nook Tablet, which can get apps, online, etc. in addition to the books and stuff.

Looks just like an eReader or a Kindle I guess. I'll stick to my Android.
At least I can sneak it into work easier.

[color=#006FFF]It's manufactured by Barnes & Nobel--a bookstore company--and it's powered by Android. I'm not entirely sure if it's manufactured globally, since I believe BN is a nationwide company only, so it being unknown to many wouldn't surprise me.
@Shane; yeah, it's pretty much BN's answer to the Kindle. I was given the choice between the two, and I went with the Nook since I love it's design and specs more. Plus I love BN.

Thought so, since it would be no way it's a Microsoft, lol.
What kind of unique functions does it have? When you said Tablet, can you draw with it? Or am I just been silly again?

[color=#006FFF]Nah, it's not a drawing tablet. Think more along the lines of an iPad designed for books/comics/magazines/newspapers/etc. You can make magazine subscriptions (like I have) on it, and it'll give them to you immediately upon the day of its release and you can read it on it. It's really convenient considering it opens up a wider window of opprotunity to find certain things that you didn't know existed. For example, I never knew about the magazine ImagineFX, which is an tablet art magazine. It's really awesome, so of course I had to subscribe. I have that and another magazine series from the same company, called Comic Heroes which is kind of what it sounds like. It gives the latest news on comic related info, from movies, to series, etc. They have a lot of manga on it as well. A bit too much yaoi for my taste though, lol.
With the recent announcement of DC Comics making their way into the Nook store (something that I was always disappointed in the lack thereof) I've been able to read all of my comics on there much easier since I never have much time to take some with me to school, take them out of the plastic, read it in a few minutes, and get the next one out (they're only about 15 pages per issue, while the volumes on the Nook are 100-something). So, for me, the Nook is out of sheer convenience and sleekness.

And yeah, I need to sleep too. Gotta wake up at 5am and all. Later peeps.

More like a yaoi fangirl's dream to have a Nook, no joke here.
