Was is a game you were interested in getting from the start?

Yeah it was, looked quite interesting.

I want to put in a bit blatant: Its DMC with a Witch instead of a demon. Its more fireweapon based. also some nice challenges.
Storyline gets pretty cool later on and Guess whos talking? Right! That weird reporter Luca is voiced by nobody else but Yuri Lowenthal.

So... it's worth playing?

I liked it and it was one of my early PS3 games. I'd give it an 8/10. so yes.

If Shane gets it, then I most likely will.

[color=#006FFF]If it has to be related to anything, yes, I'd have to agree in calling it DMC's sister, but it does have its differences in gameplay. The thing is just that there's only so much you can do to differentiate yourself from the thing that pretty much created the genre you're in. That said, think of DMC x Vietiful Joe (Witch Time = Slow) and throw in some other small differences.

The characters are great, the story is okay but nothing amazing, and the style, much like Kamiya's previous games, is over the rim. The graphics are great, and the controls work perfectly. The game is difficult at times, but manageable. The soundtrack is fantastic, and the bosses are--and this is a bit of an understatement for some--simply over the top.

Praise aside, the game does have its flaws and after playing through the main story, and doing some boss battles again a couple of times, the replay value isn't exactly great. I see it as the best 3D Action game there is (not saying very much considering there isn't very much but still), despite its flaws.

If you can, I say buy it, as it's definitely not a game you should miss out on. Jeanne is one of my favorite characters ever.

PS. I can't stand Yuri Lowenthal, but Luca himself wasn't too bad.

I've heard some good music from it anyway.
Replay value is pretty hit and miss with some games as once you've completed it... That's it basically.
If I see it cheap somewhere I'll probably pick it up as I need some new games.

Guess I'll do the same, though I still have plenty of games to get through first. So it may take a while before I actually play it.

Maybe they've become rare over there on your end??

Probably overshadowed buy all the FPS games.
