Someone explain to me how rounds work.. I never got involved in the waifu game, and as that's the apparent standard I need some details. Are rounds started on a set time frame? Do later rounds bar people who weren't acting on previous rounds? Since rounds can mean there is no longer an indefinite amount of time to store up "zenny" are auctions even viable? (you'd be depleted faster than usual, with more rounds meaning more purchases, so won't it get uneven?)

I fully agree that rep should be worth more though. Most people don't even pass it out, because they tend to want to hold on to it in case something comes along during the day more worth said rep, and usually end up not using it. Thus gaining it takes some real work and can be hit or miss. I've been repped for posting a video someone liked, but not large-ish contributions to some threads. So it's almost like playing the slots to get. lol

The question though is if we should do something for those who lost rep during the roll back, and what to do should that occur again. I don't post outside of CTFG very often, so my post count used to nearly match my rep. Therefore, Jacob made up for my lost rep in terms of zenny with that post boost.. though now everyone has it, so I feel as if zenny I earned was cheapened.

But I digress.. if I had gotten even a few more rep in that month or two period that got wiped, it could have been messy. We might need a plan for mishaps like that, even if it's just "as things now stand" cuz with a game like this, another roll back or something similar affects things pretty heavily.

Hmm.... well, how about you read the waifu game rules and stuffs to know about the waifu game and try out its set of rules for this?

right well, since no one has huge numbers of rep, or almost no one...100? and i think rounds should take place...hohum...every 3 months?

rounds are basically a reset, because people want to buy other people, they clamor for resetting the rounds so others have a chance, so you won't run out of zenny...and in the waifu game they barred out those who didnt play from the beginning, but in this thread, as of yet, no reason to isolate or ostracize the latecomers

So we basically will start a new game every January
Every month will be a new round
You can claim up to 2 people each round
Reps are worth 30 each
there will be 10 rounds, so rounds will end in october.
After October, it will be all you can eat, so splurge any remaining zenny
January means we start new game
repeat

I missed these new posts. Thank goodness for the master list. I don't know what you planned to do, but I second rise's statement regarding this. The game is getting something of a clean slate and a lot of rules are changing. I say it's time to claim it as having gone to ver. 4

I'll be explaining everything come July
