Lol, not right now there isn't. We do have summer here.
One of my pals worked at a tourist booth during college. It's pretty amazing some of the stereotypes that hold over- more than once have people come over during the summer, asking where the nearest ski hills were.
The reaction of Europeans being astounded at how much empty space we have is amusing, too.

One winter I saw someone waiting at a bus stop with a snowboard ready to go. I thought it was funny since it almost looks like something that'd be a stereotype but, he was most likely going up to meet someone further up to take him to the ski resort that is only a few km upward on the mountain over looking the town.
