Choose Your Mech Game [Final Phase]

So this is a restart of my mech game. Unlike the waifu game's reset where you were able to keep a number of your waifus, this game's reset completely resets everyone's mechs to 0 meaning everyone will start again from fresh. A new round will begin 3 days after the previous round with the maximum number of rounds being 5. The rules are the same as there seems to be no critical problems with the current rules. For everyone's convenience, I've posted the rules below and I strongly encourage you to read it. But to make everything simple as best I can, you can only pick 1 mech at a time and only mechs that haven't been taken and your choices cannot be a variant built ontop of the mech that someone else has already owned. And your mech choices must be a unit you're able to pilot and it can't be a combination of 2 or more other mechs. For more in depth info and examples, the rules are posted below. For the number of claims because some people seem to be confused. As of now you are only allowed to pick 1. With each new round the number of choices you may take will increase so for example, when round 3 hits and you have no mechs, you may pick 3 at once. This will be similar to the "If you were able to get one mech", "Choose your MP squad" and the waifu game. You will be able to choose any one mecha you want as your personal mech. It could be either a Gundam, Knightmare, Eva, etc. You can even pick MP units to be your personal mechs too. However you cannot choose something someone else has already claimed. And you cannot choose a variant of something that someone else has claimed either. At this moment you may only choose one mech. Also provide a pic of your mech, and tell us where it's from too. This is the way I would like to see mechs being chosen: I choose *insert mech name* from *insert series its from*. However anything along these lines is acceptable. It has come to my attention that this game is being exploited by editing mech claims. This is unfair to the people playing it and is not allowed. When you pick your mech, that's the one you're stuck with. You may not edit your "1st" or whatever number pick once you already claimed. Rules for the Mecha Game wrote...[size=14]BASIC RULES:[/h] 1) You can claim a mech as long as it has not been claimed by someone else before. Spoiler:Example: Since I have claimed 00 Gundam, no one else can claim 00 Gundam. 2) The mech chosen must be from an anime, manga, and/or game. Spoiler:You are not allowed to choose a mech that was fan-made by yourself or anyone for that matter. Only official mechs that have been officially released in an anime, manga and/or game. 3) You are not allowed to choose a different version of the exact same mech Spoiler:If Strike Gundam is taken, you are not allowed to pick "Sword Striker" or "Aile Striker" as they are the exact same gundam but only with a different equipment pack. Along the same lines, if Xenogears was taken, you are not allowed to pick any version of weltall, because Xenogears "evolved" form weltall, which still make it the exact same mech, despite the contrasting difference between them On the other hand, Strike Gundam, Freedom Gundam and Strike Freedom Gundam are all considered as separate mechs, as all 3 were built separately (Freedom Gundam was built after strike was destroyed,and Strike Freedom was built after Freedom Gundam was Destroyed) 4) The mech must be something that can be piloted Spoiler:Although women also have cockpits, Gundam girls are not allowed. 5) You must have a minimum of [color=red]50[/color] posts to join the game. Spoiler:This one is a no-brainer. If you claim with an account that has less than 50 posts, your claim will be void and your post will be ignored. Here's a free tip: the Incoherent Babblings section does not increase your post count, and DO NOT SPAM in the forums please. 6) If your chosen mech is a combined form of multiple mechs, it is disqualified Spoiler:You are not allowed to choose "Megazord" from Power Rangers. You are, however, allowed to choose each individual mech that would combine into megazord (it will take up 5 slots to claim all 5). [size=14]ADVANCED RULES:[/h] 1) Reassignment: If you wish to be reassigned (change mechs), you will suffer a 3 day penalty. Spoiler:You are allowed to disown a mech, but you can only claim a new mech exactly 3 days after the post where you disowned your mech. Example: Onime-no-Enishi disowns Alteisen Riese on June 21st 2009 at 4:49AM GMT (you wish!), he can only start claiming another mech again on June 28th 2009 at 4:49AM GMT 2) Customized Units: Customized Units of Mass Produced (MP) units are considered separate. Spoiler:Example: Char's Zaku IIs is considered as a separate mech from a Zaku II, so 1 user can claim Char's Zaku IIs, while another user can claim a Zaku II. 3) Is it a mech?: If you are unsure if your "claim" is a mech or possibly something else, just try to claim it anyway, and we will research on it and decide if it can be allowed to be claimed as a mech. Read the spoiler to get some tips on how to differentiate on your own. Spoiler:first, we define what is a mech (strictly limited to this case ONLY!): - A mech is a mechanical vehicle that is used to perform tasks (usually military in this case) - A mech can be of any shape, and does not necessarily need to mimic a living thing or have to be humanoid (there is a mech in xenogears that is nothing but a giant spike ball with moving spikes, and its a mech). - A mech can be of any size, as long as it can fit a human being (pilot) inside to control it. Common debatable things that are NOT considered mechs, are motherships (Arch Angel, Gundam SEED), super weapons (Memento Mori, Gundam 00) or mobile fortresses (Answerer, Armored Core 4A). 4)Mass Produced MechsSpoiler:This is a new rule regarding mass produced mechs. As of now only mass produced mechs from either a Gundam series and Macross series are allowed to be picked more than one person. For example, if one person claims a Zaku II from Mobile Suit Gundam, another person can also claim it as well.

And Bushido, isn't the 00-Raiser against your own rules, since it's a combination of 00 Gundam and 0-Raiser? IIRC, that was the reason you had just the 00 Gundam in the first game.

Hey Zero, I took Exia. And Luinthoron, I'll talk about 00-Raiser with CR. If it's decided that its not considered 1 unit then I'll change it to just 00. I only said 00-Raiser because it was decided before that it was 1 unit cause 0-Raiser would be useless by itself. But I willing to review this.

I wouldn't call the 0-Raiser useless. While it is clearly meant to be used together with 00, it does have some weapons (and a pilot) of its own as well.

While 0-Raiser does have it's own pilot and some armaments. The unit never fought on its own. Pretty much every time when it was deployed, it always docked with 00. Same with ZZ Gundam where it has its top half, core fighter, and legs, they always docked together and almost never fought as individual units. Because of this fact, I considered 00-Raiser 1 mech. I would probably think otherwise if 0-Raiser fought on its own more often but that didn't happen. Plus 00-Raiser can operate without 0-Raiser's pilot which will eliminate the fact that it requires 2 pilots resulting in the Gundam not having to be at least a 2 pilot mobile suit.

Oh, well... The difference with ZZ here is, of course, that 00 does fight as a separate unit as well. Your decision, though. We already had that fight in the first game when you disqualified my 0-Raiser claim and I really don't want to start another.

Well I don't consider this a fight, because I am aware of some disputes between these issues because they seem ambiguous. That's why when something like this happens, I talk to other people on CR who has knowledge on this and we decide through unanimous decision on the Gundam and etc. This isn't my decision alone. I try to run this through a democratic system so that a fair judgment can be decided. I'll ask my buddies again later and if we decide if 00-Raiser is considered 2 mechs, I'll let you know. Sound fair? You're welcome to join us in CR and discuss this matter if you wish.

people rarely pick an UC timeline unit because they are old. but I think most of the the units in UC timeline are better than the other timelines. ^_^
