Hard to say, there are more issues now but I don't think it's due to the staff being who they are, the more likely conclusion is that the larger population leads to more problems. We have about the same amount of staff as we did back then but our population has grown by very large percentage. I do look forward to new staff members to help us out, hopefully.

Really? I feel that there's more staff members now in comparison to the past. But I guess the part about the problem makes sense. Also, I feel that some of the staff members are really busy sometimes. But then again, I don't get to see how much they come online and lurk.

Do you already have people in mind because from what I see users on par with your professionalism , skill, and dedication are a relatively sparse group and even then half of them are nut jobs.

I am going to be straight about it. He's being utterly ridiculous. I've read all of those secret messages. He's raging from not receiving enough attention. That's how it's probably always been. He used to come here to get attention and not everyone actively spoke to him all the time. A lot of the time I remembered was him doing nothing while others kept going with their conversations.

The way he broke his loyalty just because of something such as that... proved his true worth, in my eyes; as a mercenary, and as a security guard. And I learned a lesson for putting my trust on a guy who celebrates death. At least I have memories, ah well.

I doubt I'll be online when that happens man....

A lot of the staff was here but Silent; guys like Teclo, Raze, Matt, etc... We lost many and new people joined. Part of our issue is we as a staff lack communication with our user base. There are exceptions to that rule: Tegumi is fairly vocal in SD, Gambler enjoys sending pm's to many users, Kaimax is attentive to multiple sections, and I do my part as well. I do wish the others spoke up sometimes.



I always keep a short list of users I think would make good mods but I only use those as recommendations for Jake. Most of the time he tells me who he's considering and I tell him what I know about the person. He has wanted to hire quite a few people who I advised against which he took seriously and looked elsewhere.

Lack of communication? I'm not sure if I understood that part.

Is Jacob even considering on hiring anyone anymore? Aren't all the section covered by now? At least that's what I assume with the number of global moderators.

We don't talk to the users enough, we aren't as transparent as we should be. There is a disconnect between the users and the staff for the most part and I wish it didn't exist.

I don't know if Jake is looking to hire anyone new, but I think we need someone. We do have a large number of global mods now but some section mods should be in training now.

Unban Zak and reinstate him as mod of IB. Then ban him again after sufficient lolz.
