That just shows that it, along with AnoHana, managed to convey the same level of emotion it took Clannad two full SEASONS to accomplish. I'd say that already puts it leagues above the latter.

I watched Clannad and also After Story upon reading about how great it was. Although the ending was somewhat unsatisfying, the story and characters are really endearing. You literally witnessed them growing up and I like how it shows us simple things which make life worthwhile, like your family and shit.
I also admit, that my eyes watered when watching After Story. Clannad was kinda cliche and boring.

Alright I'll bite:
Everywhere I go be it in the internet or outside the Computer it's always the same thing:
- "Great story" this, "Sad Ending" that, "Man Tears" hit me with a wiffleball bat, everyone (at least every one who really enjoyed it, especially YOU) always hype up those things about the show, and they really (In my opinion, cuz that's what this shit is), REALLY aren't worth the hype.
I will admit I did feel something while watching this show, more specifically during that Fuko part, but after that I felt so stupid for actually getting caught up with the show (I don't need to say why, you saw the fucking show). Also Those shitty, Shitty first 8 or so episodes of "After Story" were such a waste of my time, that I'd advice anyone who is gonna start watching "After Story" to skip them. Despite me not exactly liking the series I did kinda like The Tomoyo/Tomoya special.
Then should I just admit that I'm just obsessed or maybe jus temporarily hyped from the show? Since I have a different opinion about it, ipersonally enjoyed the show, that's my opinion :)

When I watched it long ago I thought it was good but thousands upon thousands of pansies like you ruined the memory completely. I bet it's the same for a lot of people here. It's like every time you mention clannad animefreak butchers another ushio.
My sincerest apology i guess you just want to talk about something you like after realizing its over, naturally since you would crave more.

Haha well I guess everyone can agree the ending was half assed but the personalities of e characters were really what kept me watching, and it was really nice to see howit progressed, but I don't like much action so..... I guess it was more enjoyable for me :p
