I was bitchy to him/her, but he/she was rude to me. Ah well, can't get along with everyone.

Been there done that.

One day in particular I started at 5:30 in the morning and only checked out after 1:30 the following morning.

This was back when I was working in a garage. We were installing a new lift. The delivery was late, so the boss let everyone go home, but I decided to stick around.

Dismantling the old one and installing the new one with just three guys (delivery guy) took awhile.


Boss doled out overtime fairly regularly. 15 hour days was fairly average, along with Saturday mornings too.


I've also been tree planting, in which you're out planting trees for 10-12 hours each day all week, with only a day off every two weeks or so.

I wouldn't be too keen on that again- if only for the fact that the bugs were of such incredible numbers as to blacken the sky and render one deaf.

Bugs annoy me.

Try pouring wet concrete while raining.
