This is a classic example of the omnipotence paradox (as you may know by now). It is impossible to know whether or not God (or any other omnipotent being) can truly create an object he is not able to lift.
Because:
a) If he can create this object and is not able to lift it, then this would render the being unomnipotent.
b) If he cannot create this object, this would, again, render the being unomnipotent.

We're not talking about boners, so there's no point of asking, "well, what do you mean by rock =P?" since you would see we're obviously talking about those things that you see on the ground outside, if you look at the context.
