Create Your Own Adventure #1

In light of Antw0n's recent thread on pokemon, I decided I would follow suit and create my own CYOA story as well.

Rules


Let's begin.


A light shines into the darkness, it irritates your eyes. The black darkness quickly becomes red and you open your eyes. The sun is directly over your head as you hear cicadas off in the distance. Your disoriented body slowly rises and you dizzily lean against the tree behind you for support. You yawn very loudly as a dark silhouette approaches you. Quickly realizing its a man you squint your eyes to get a better view of him. As he approaches you quickly run your options through your head.

A)Kill him
B)Talk to him
C)Run
D)Go back to sleep

Choose carefully.

Go back to sleep

Not caring about the man you quickly go back to sleep against the tree. The man finally reaches you as you begin to dose off.

"Idiot brother you know I've been coming here and yet you still sleep," says the man in black. Your sleep has been shattered and you glare at this man. You simply say to him to leave you alone as you are very tired. He falls silent and once more sleep overtakes you. Several hours later you wake to find your brother fishing in meadow below.

"'Bout time you woke brother," He yells down below. You quickly put your boots back on and ponder your situation

A)Join your brother in fishing
B)Play a prank on your brother
C)Notice that a girl was sleeping next to you
D)Try to remember your name(You get to name him)

D. Name is "Jake McSteelnuts"

Your brother calls after you

"Jake, you going to help me fish or what?" He yells after you. You flip him off and continue to try to sleep. It's futile as you've already slept for at least thirteen hours. As your brother finishes fishing he walks up to you and remarks "So... who's the girl?" You immediately look at the girl and remember that

A)She's your slave
B)She's your wife
C)She's your sister
D)She's your annoying neighbor who's really obsessed with you.

"Pretend she doesn't exist," you look at her with contempt in your eyes. "We should just continue to move north so we can


A) Fight the tyrant king.
B) Find jobs so we're not dirt poor
C) Find father so he can tell us what to do

But that's up to you brother. We could just

D) Stay here and look after the girl. She is an orphan after all."

Your brother looks at you and nods. The decision has been made.

A, is obviously the only choice.

Your brother looks at you and mutters under his breath
"Fight the tyrant king..." Your eyes bulge and you realize that your joke somehow became serious.

"Very well brother, we'll do this. But first we need to recruit able men and women. As it stands right now we stand no chance." Your brother nods at this. You leave the girl behind and you travel north. You arrive in the town of Renzl. It's very famous for its bar brawls. You slowly ponder to yourself if you should enter the bar or continue moving up north

Enter the bar and try to find someone strong to help you.

You kick the bar door open and the people fighting inside stop to stare at you.
"MY NAME IS JACK McSTEELNUTS! AND I'M GOING TO KILL THE TYRANT KING! WHO IS THE STRONGEST AMONG YOU SO I MAY RECRUIT HIM OR HER?!" The people stare at you and then begin to laugh. A lady in the corner of the bar is drinking her rum calmly and eyes you. She realizes that you are complete seriously and approaches you.

"It appears I'm interested enough in this wild idea of your to give you a chance. Give me one good motherfucking reason why I should follow you to certain death." She spits at you.

You slowly unbutton your shirt and take it off and raise your fists.

"Let's make a wage," you say calmly. "I win you serve under me. You win I buy you 12 pitchers of rum." Your brother looks at you nervously and says

"Brother we don't have that kind of money!" You merely look at him and raise a pouch full of gold coins and say to him

"You don't but I do." The woman looks at you in a strange fascination and merely grunts in agreement. She makes the first move with a a uppercut to your face. You become dizzy for a few seconds

You quickly grab your brother and use him as a shield. This enrages the girl and begins to pummel your brother. Having no chances to counter with your brother limp in your arms, she quickly makes a tomato of your face. She continues at this until you're bloodied and bruised. She then takes a sword and rams it into your heart.

The woman looks at you in a strange fascination and merely grunts in agreement. She makes the first move with a a uppercut to your face. You become dizzy for a few seconds

C because Jake McSteelnuts is a pussy

You begin to randomly flail your fists at her. She laughs at your pathetic attempts at a fight and quickly punches you in the throat. Unable to breath you quickly attempt to choke her as well. She merely brushes you off and punches you in the gut.

It takes a good five minutes for you to recover. She grabs you up and laughs at you.

"You are by far the strangest man I've ever met. Now buy me my rum." You buy her the spirits you agreed on buying her. As she finishes them all you quickly realize that you're broke. "You know you're a pretty funny guy. I think I might accompany you just to see you and your weird antics. But don't get your hopes up. I'll only fight for you if you best me in a fight." You nod and wonder to yourself how this lady isn't drunk yet. "By the way what's your brother's name?

Larry DoubleDick (he was adopted)

When you tell her she laughs her ass off. Larry looks away in shame. You explain to her that your brother was adopted and that your father thought it was a hilarious idea to make Larry's last name Doubledick.

"Anyway my name is Rachel Flamefists. You two are a pretty funny pair, not going to lie," she grins at you. Right as you exit with Rachel behind you the bar a ball hits you in your face.

The orphan girl from earlier. She's pissed that you left her behind.
