What was your job a year ago?

Worked visitor services for a private library. Was pretty great, but I blew it by being late too many times basically. Also had a new boss after a while for about a year who was simply intolerable so that burned me out...

But, blessing in disguise, because then I was able to care for my mom who got injured, so I was in NJ taking care of her for a long while.

I'm hitting the books again for basically the same reason- steady work is still tough to find, so thought I might as well get some schooling in. Random mix of Maths, Astronomy, Philosophy, History. Took a short trip to Taiwan (the land of my people) during the holidays.

Seem common here. I know 8 people just in my family or friends who died or in treatment and that just in 2015-16.
