I actually am starting to get annoyed at the amount of people who go onto 'ntr' and 'cheating' and go 'boo hoo ntr sucks, we need more vanilla' or 'waaah, so sick of forced tag, why can't we get more vanilla'
god dammit... it makes me feel bad for enjoying vanilla. As much as i enjoy vanilla, the fans are starting to give me the shits...
I enjoy me some tentacle, forced, futa and what not. but they go on there and complain in the comments, and get top comments. it annoys me.
QFT.
Hardcore fanboy vanillaphiles make me hate myself for liking vanilla, because of the way they act towards anything which resembles rape or cheating.
Is there a default length of reading manga in which you start to enjoy ntr? I recently read an ntr/ cheating manga, and enjoyed it.. which is a long stray from my usual 'DAYM NTR TO HEEELL' rant... maybe because the partner didn't know >.> maybe... probs why i enjoy cheating then, and not so much ntr... maybe..

That post sounds like some immature child crying for attention, at least make it sound more grown up then some child crying/nerd raging.
Waah, waaah, waaah.... (That's baby crying, btw.)
I know it's the INTERNET, but it doesn't need to be xbox live.

Hay guiz.
I know this is IB, but I felt there were some good points made in this thread that I wanted to unofficially address --
In response, we changed the code to store passwords using Bcrypt instead of MD5 hashes. Since we can't reverse the stored MD5 hashes, changing the storage requires asking for new passwords. We also restored the database tables containing the manga and tag information to the previous night's backup.
Anyway, Tranquility and Hibia are nice guys; they could have done a lot more damage with a mod account than they did -- basically by making small changes that don't get noticed, making restoring from backups really painful. For better or worse, I believe they were trying to improve Fakku by forcing change.
Realistically, 80% of whatever goes wrong is usually my fault. Sorry :(

- 'fakku123' refers to the password that was used ~3? years ago to secure all of Fakku's services (MySQL, ssh, etc). It was embedded in the source code, so anyone who was given a copy of the code effectively had full access to the servers.
[*]Tranquility dumped the Sanshee and Fakku databases to demonstrate that the issue was serious. I think this was around the time we migrated from the old phpbb2-based code to the full rewrite I was working on at the time; this event bumped up the migration IIRC. This dump contained the MD5 hashes of passwords -- because that's how phpbb2 stored passwords.
[*]We migrated over to the rewrite (which is the codebase running today); to make it easier to write, we still used unsalted MD5 hashes to store passwords.
Fast forward to today.
[*]Tranquility and Hibia (presumably with the old database dumps) got one of the old moderator's passwords. They then proceeded to make the changes they did using the moderator account.
