Divorcing Waifus! (A Serious Business?)
Where do you stand?

Personally, I'm not against "divorcing waifus" as long as there's a "just reason" behind it. There should also be some "repercussions" against it and other relevant deeds such as "trading waifus." I suggest a "7 day re-marrying rule" upon those who are to divorce their waifus, meaning that they shouldn't be allowed to re-marry for a week. (If one's "potential" waifu is to be taken away by someone else at that period, that's the price one would have to pay)
Of course, we all know that this is nothing but a game. This poll is just to serve as a sort of "consensus" among the users who are either playing the game or planning to join the game. If you don't want to have anything to do with it, hate it or whatever, just kindly STFU!
SO, let's vote wisely!
Also, try to give a brief explanation as to why you voted for which. 8)
(Don't worry, we shall respect each and everyone's opinion here)
I'd even personally ask Gambler or any MOD for that matter to lock this thread, if necessary.

In general, I'm against it. I'm guessing alot of people may have hastily picked their waifu's, more afraid that someone else might take them rather than actually wanting them to begin with. This has caused what can only be called pandemonium. Now all those people have had time to really think over their decision, and naturally, they want to make a better choice.
I feel sorry for a waifu that has been chosen in this manner, so while I'm against the concept of divorce, I can't really speak out against it. They should get divorced if the fuzzy wuzzies are gone, but it shouldn't be all that simple. Harsh penalties should be enforced, up to and including violent ones for those trying to divorce mentally unstable waifus. That's dangerous business right there and shouldn't be taken lightly.
So while divorce is sad, it's even worse if someone is stuck with someone they can't actually stand. In the future, chose wisely.

Well I think there should always be a Procedure to Follow, concerning things like this.
I divorced my Waifu's cause I was given the O.K. to do so. I even asked around whether or not, If could or not. Trust me I was very reluctant to do so too. And Patience is always a virtue.
But Order and Rules should be there to help prevent those who abuse this right. Even Consequences... I can't give any suggestions cause I don't control the Waifu Claiming thread. So it may have to be taken up to Waar himself. But in the end I just hope we can all respect other's choices.
That is what I think.

tsuyohiro and blank_zai are right
most people married (in my opinion) to "protect" their fav. or just to trad'em later on
divorce should only be allowed with a very good reason and as you said hermitVI with a re-marriage rule
i mean one user can propose to 4 girls (maybe 5 soon enough) so he has plenty choices and time to consider it
i didn't get the wives i REALLY wanted but i chose the ones i prefered after'em and now i'm happy
so as long as there's a penalty i'm okay with it
maybe someone should open a divorce thread in the near future

I would have to say I'm against divorcing waifus. I don't like how some individuals are throwing away 1 or 3 waifus for no particular reason. I agree with tsuyoshiro that some may be hastily picking girls just cause they're afraid that they may get taken the next second they don't. For those waifus, I feel sorry for them because basically they're being treated as nothing more than a toy that's ready to be thrown away at any second.
Personally in my case, it took me a while to decide on who I wanted to pick. I considered who's left and their personalities and looks. It took me about two days before I announced my decision. So far I have no regrets on my two choices.
If one must absolutely divorce, there should be some penalty as consequence. Because some users seem to be abusing the option where when they find someone they like better that's not taken, they abandon one they already have for the new girl. For some I do respect for waiting for a fifth round or so for one that's still open, I do find it sickening that others just freely throw away their waifus for new ones without a second thought. If you initially picked a girl you never really liked, why pick her in the first place? In my eyes, that's being greedy and selfish. Not only is that a disrespect to the girls, but to other users who wanted to pick them for the right reasons.
To sum it up, I'm against it so those who still have yet to pick your first or maybe fourth, choose wisely. Seriously.

This thread kinda cracks me up tbh, it's a fictional character for christ's sakes, if you wanna switch your fictional character for another fictional character just do it lol.
This is sum serious business indeed.

I understand and respect your opinion that they're only fictional characters and that this is only a game, but for every game there must be a set of rules to follow otherwise it wouldn't be fair to those playing it. Everything in this world has some sort of rule attached. Let's say you and me are playing CoD. Would it be fair if I always knew where you were and you didn't or if you can never hurt me but I can kill you with one shot. I wouldn't think so. It applies to the waifu game too. Some people are just hogging girls and simply throwing them away once a better one pops up. Some users may lose the chance to claim the girl they want for the right reasons to a another with the wrong reasons. On that point, I don't think it's very fair. If you don't want that girl to begin with, then don't pick her. Plain and simple.

I am against divorcing but that's my opinion, personally when I first either read, saw, or played games related to my waifus I fell for them instantly and I am so glad I was able to get them, now there mine mwhahaha

This is sum serious business indeed. That's why it's in IB. (if it is indeed SERIOUS, I would have done it at the "Serious Discussion") - maybe I should ask a MOD to move it there. (I wonder what Gambler's take on this)

I'm anti-pro against it, you should have thought it out well before you made your waifu choice.

 This is total bullshit.
But it's good for a laugh I'll admit.
What's so bullshit about this?
If it's total bullshit about divorcing waifus then I'd agree with you.
I'd never will divorce my waifus cause I love them.
What does that say to the rest of us that feel the same as I do, when some other person divorces their waifus they already claimed simply because there was someone else better looking or hotter? It's a slap in the face.

I personally feel that having 4 waifus already overly confusing and being able to divorce them and 'remarry' would add to the confusion.
Abit off-topic but...
