Do I have a problem with my eyes?

Well today I bought this really powerful LED flashlight.

I flashed it in my eyes ( because I'm stupid ) and I was blinded. It wasn't one of those 1 minute kind of blindings. No, I stayed like that for 15-20 min. I cant see crap all day. Do I need to see my optometrist?

I don't think it's bad enough that you should visit a doctor. But yeah, try not to do it again. Not a very smart thing to do.

seriously, if you know the flashlight's supposed to be extra powerful, don't look directly into it, and yes, I would go to the optometrist, just to make sure there's no lasting damage.

look at the sun after a few minutes you will feel betterHow in the world does looking at the sun help? We wear sunglasses for a reason, and I don't think exposing your eyes in direct UV light is going to help at all.

Come on g-$, you should know better than that. If a post seems to go against all common sense, then at least assume sarcasm.

@Rbz: there's things like laser surgery, and a laser is a form of electromagnetic wave that helps with correction and healing of eyes, whereas regular laser pointers will hurt your eyes. It didn't seem like sarcasm, but I know better now.
