Do you like hentai when it's funny?

I don't mind it as long as there isn't too much. A little bit here and there is fine but I draw the line when it gets too excessive.

I love comedic events that are kinda cute (not cute in the sexual way, just in the silly and fun way). I don't care too much for the jackass type comedy, but then again, you don't see much of that in hentai.

I strongly prefer light-hearted material, in the sense of sweetness and a lovey-dovey atmosphere. I don't mind some silliness or cuteish fooling around.
But the usual "jokes" in hentai, often based on violence, punching or outright castration lead to instant deletion.

Yeah I like comedy in Hentai as long as it isnt crude/cheap, doesnt dominate the whole story or come in at times when it shouldnt.

I like the humour to be in the beginning like a kind of tease type thing before switching over to the serious stuff.

Im not looking at Hentai for Lulz at the end of the day... Its for my pleasure. :D

depends on how well it's executed. if great...that's an irreplaceable bonus. but if it's stupid...damn turn-off.

well... hentai and humor. It's a delicate mix. It will largely depend on how comedy fits in with the story. It's like cooking and knowing how many salt should be put in.

Comedy is great but they at least need to keep the sex serious. Adding comedy to sex just makes it comedy.

Erotic comedy is awesome. While arguably not hentai, the first things that come to my mind are Kissxsis, Kanokon and Yomeiro Choice, which are all hillarious and hot as hell.

On the most explicit side, compare Boin Lecture to Resort Boin animes sometime. A lot of the same characters are in both, but the latter is way more entertaining. Some of it is because the character design is a little better, but the bulk of it is because Resort gets carried by the gags, whereas Lecture is just generic sex.
