Do you like your hentai 'drug-free'?

This was something that came into mind and I just wanted to know what others feel about the use of drugs or substance abuse in hentai.

To some people, it may add to the fetish and depends on the situation, but when you think about the health dangers associated with the intake of the more lethal or dangerous ones, it does leave a bad mark on the conscience to the victim, leading to some messed up situations, which leads me to this. Let me know what you think.

Also, drugs are not necessary to make a good hentai, even when you're looking at some of the hardcore stuff.

A good example is Sex Drunker, which is very good doujin at the start, with nice art, and original story.

But including drugs into this makes it a bit ... sinister. The story could have gone a whole different way without them, and still would have been great.

Its a bit like pregnancy, but worse.

Getting back on topic, hentai featuring drugs and how the characters are subsequently broken down can sometimes be hardcore in nature. Nonetheless, as long as one is aware of how harmful drugs can be, it should be all right.

In added response to this topic, it bothers me that sex and drugs make for a mind break type of scenario in hentai depending how far it goes, like Da Hootch's Yotsuba Four Leaf Lover doujins. Those were like a breaking point of drug usage in hentai, so its a definite no from me.

I always felt that the potrayal of drug substance abuse was just an added point to further degenerate the morality of the one or ones doing it. I wonder if one felt that It's passable for good hentai material if the situation was a forced one and the victim was subdued into substance abuse or should it be right that the abuse was consesual?

I dont really mind it, but its not something I look for in particular.
