Slight problem, Kei. If you remember correctly, there were different species there at the same time. We're gonna need some serious bang to these things. The mixed breeds may have strengthened the webs. We might also need armor that can withstand their bites, though getting overrun by them will be a withstanding problem.

Man, this feels like Monster Hunter. And I don't even like the series! :(

Yeah, these spiders are different from your average arachnid. for one, they seem to operate as a hive mind and have developed a nest where they, may or may not, have a queen spider in there.

We'll need to check this out, also, take these explosives.
*gives Art a bag of Napalm explosives*

*takes bag*

We need to plug a bunch of these straight into the nest. Might take out the queen.

*arms himself*

Oh wait, attach this one your M4, Art
*hands him a painball M203 grenade launcher and a few 40mm Acid rounds*
These things launch a grenade that is filled with Hydrochloric acid, launch one as soon as we enter

*hands two to Waltz and one of his soldiers*

*holsters another M92F on his chest holster*

3, 2, 1, GO!

*busts through the door and starts raining bullets on the buggers*

*Waltz goes in second*
"MOVE! MOVE!"
*the soldiers follow up behind him*

*Kei slings his M4 and picks up an old WWII M2 Flamethrower*
COME ON!!!!
*lining up with the others, he fires a burst and a whole line of crisped spiders emerge from the smoke*
Follow up behind me! I'm clearing a path!
*Kei slowly walks forward, firing bursts of flames at the waves of spiders*

Make a clear path to the nest, then find an opening to put the bombs in!

Right then! DIEE!
*Kei swings the nozzle around like mad and continues advancing towards the nest, walking over the crisp corpses of the spiders*

wow...spiders huh..... why dont you guys just bomb the basement and destroy the whole swarm of them bastards.

(It's in the basement, if we just bombed them then we'd probably level down the whole building as well.))

((Plus, we're just bored and trying to make this seem dramatic))

*makes their way to the nest*

Start planting the napalm, NOW! We'll cover you!

*Waltz takes out three spiders and signals his soldiers*
"You, GO!"
*One soldier nods before taking out a few of the napalm explosives*

Be careful there, you don't know what to expect from that thing
*Kei sprays flames on incoming waves of spiders*

*the soldier plants one charge in an opening of the nest before a spider crawls onto him*
"LOOK OUT!"
*Waltz kills the spider crawling on his man and covers him as he continues planting*

Let's get this going now!
*Kei sprays shorter bursts as his tank begins to deplete*

We're done planting! Get the fuse ready! We gotta hightail it quick!

*starts emptying ammo*

Right then
*Kei dumps his flamethrower tank on the floor and unslings his rifle*
Waltz, get your men, we're done here!
*Kei heads for the door, firing on any spiders in the way*

*Waltz follows and one soldier gets jumped by a grey wolf jumper (mixed breed of a Grey wolf spider and a jumper spider)*
"SHIT! LEAVE HIM, HE'S A GONER!"
*Waltz continues with Kei and his soldiers follow, looking back on their comrade who is being consumed by the horde of spiders*

*Kei reaches the door, one hand ready to shut it and his other firing wildly at the waves coming up behind the others*
COME ON!

*passes through the door*

*Kei gets in as Art slams the door and rag in place*

*Kei grabs the detonator from his pouch and flips open the switch safety*

An incredible blast of flames emerge from the nest, drowning the room in a typhoon of fire and the spiders all burn into a crisp and the nest, a shrunken, blackened shadow of its former glory. In the aftermath of the flames, in the charred rooms full of burnt, crisped corpses; A large spider emerges from the brunt wreckage of the nest, the queen spider, stuggling to escape its destroyed home, it takes its last breath before collapsing into the bed of its underlings
