That's my dream job, since I'm bound to become a desk-sitting political analyst in some think tank, or to be a damn Counter-Terrorism expert in some big-shot office.

I'd rather work as a mercenary than sit in an Air Conditioned room typing, pencil pushing and analyzing stuff. The smell of cartridge powder and the sound of gunfire amuses me so much.

Since we're all talking about mercenaries, would you like to work freelance or in a private military company?

i think being a PMC would be better for pay but then we'd just be hired security to some big-shot executive businessmen.

Freelance, you're not well known at the start and wouldn't get many jobs, but you'd be independent and have more freedom.

also when we make this what rank/role would you be?
and i'm gonna have dinner soon as well so i'll be AFK for a while.

so we make it a PMC mercenary group yes?
kay then, our main battle area is Southern Europe/North Africa, we're based on a small private island down the south coast of Greece.

we mainly fight other mercenary groups who disrupt world/local balance(eg bandits, thugs or terrorists)

we'll be starting small meaning our arsenal will not have a lot but will increase as time goes by and more recruits join.

that seems like enough detail to make our mercenary group. give me your opinion on this please

We should extend our area down to Central Africa. We might get contracts from the local governments there fighting various insurgencies around that area. Plus, what would be the firearms in our arsenal? Are we going to use heavy equipment like what Sandline international did in Sierra Leone?

we can extend as we grow, firearms we'll start with old equipment as we are only a new mercenary unit, probably like Cold War-era equipment and the last question is like the first questions answer also this will be the cover pic for our thread

Fakku! users that join us will all be at a certain rank that commands a unit that is comprised of fictional soldiers.
example: I'll be a Captain and command/supervise 2 Lieutenants and my own team, the lieutenants command/supervise 2 Sergeants and their own team and the Sergeants command a team of fictional soliders and those users can customise their platoons equiptment with whatever we have in the arsenal

Well, it's a free company anyway, they might get turned off by the constant orders.

Sounds too armored core perhaps? How about land-based ones since we're mercenaries who operate on land? Like ummmm....Badgers? Mongoose? Aardvarks? Or snakes like Bushmasters and stuff. or we could pay homage to these types of objects perhaps?

Zulfiqar: sword, not enough detail to symbolize anything
Vajra: Lightning bolts of a Hindu Goddess, Lightning bolts seem for fitting for an Fighter Squadron
Tarnhelm: a helmet that grants the ability to change form or turn invisible, probably more fitting for an Armoured Corps.
Durandal: Sword given to one of Charlemane's paladins, sounds good
