Educational Dreams?!

2 days ago I had to write about this philosopher, and after I went to sleep I had a dream about this guy and felt that I understood the guy better than when I was actually researching about him. And I was woundering if that kind of thing had happened to you too?

When you dream, you are using your subconscious rather than you conscious mind. Perhaps that philosopher's ideas appealed to you on a subconscious level more than it did in a wakeful state.

If you sleep after studying, your mind retains information better. And like ToyMan said, your subject's ideals may have resonated with you at a subconscious level.

I don't know anything about educational dreams, but there was this weird occasion when I was dying to call my ex-girlfriend but couldn't (her phone was powered off for A WHOLE WEEK), as a result I started calling her once an hour with no results for a few days until it got so stressful that eventually I had a dream where I finally got through to her with a completely different phone number. I actually remembered that number when I got out of bed and of course I dialed it.
Guess what? WRONG NUMBER. Not surprising though.
