I'll reiterate; If you don't have a jap psn, it's a useless lap warmer. If you do have a jap psn, it's a useless lap warmer with about maybe one or two games that would be playable, but not worth buying the console over
I've had this discussion with a friend who got the psvita straight off the bat, and traded it in after a while (had a jap psn, and rare games you couldn't get here) and the lack of any good upcoming games made him trade it in for a 3ds with all the zelda and pokemon and mario and all that coming up. I've never been a nintendo fan, but tempted to get a wii-u as well for the new zelda on it's way, and for skyward sward, as well as a few other things. The more games worth playing, the more the console is worth buying. Thus why I haven't put a next gen console on pre-order yet. Nothing really making me want to get one yet. Halo 5 and forza 5 maybe, but eh... We'll see later down the track, once all the shit has been sorted, and the bitching of people sorts out ps's issues and ms's issues

You need to play more kinds of games. I can give you a whole list of why I'd want and keep a Vita.

Look at it this way, art, how many places are gonna have out-of-region games stocked? In this case it's a matter of availability. Sure, there are means to get just about any game you could want, but those paths take considerably more time, effort, and resources than walking into a shop and saying "Give me the new Mario game."

Granted, he was a massive zelda fan. But still, I wouldn't get a vita. I have a psp with crisis core, tactics and dissidia. That's all I need

Everything is customizable. What's not to like for a Gundam/gunpla building fan?

I'm just joking, cause I don't care at all about Gundam.
