this girl Eren has her memories erased and gets trained to be a killer and this boy also has it happen to him and when they get betrayed he in the process finds out who he is but she keeps saying that if he wasn't there with her she would have nothing to live for anymore since she has no past and says she can't live without him and is willing to die for him, and at the very end of the anime he finally takes her to the place she can remember in her dreams and when she finally turns around and finally smiles at him just before that a cart drives by and you hear a silenced gun shoot and he falls to the ground

at the very end you see her lying in the grass looking at the sky with a smile on her face and the only other noticeable thing you see is a bullet shell lying next to her....
