lol, is that a yandere reference I see there? But, no not really. A knife is far less damaging than a needle. Easier to use and counter, bigger even.. a needle on the other hand is easily concealed, and extremely exact. A knife stabs into a location, a needle aims for a specific vain, muscle, etc.

With a controlled hand, a knife does damage only, whereas a needle can paralyze a chosen location for any amount of time, without even leaving much of a mark. It is more ferocious by far.
