As said, just beat them. Literally moments before posting that, still had to go through the post-battle conversation and get recorded in the Hall of Fame.

There have always been minor upgrades. Basic gameplay is still the same, but some small things have certainly changed for the better. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to defeat the Elite 4 immediately in this one, though, in all previous games there's always been quite a bit of a gap between them and everything before them. Still, as a direct sequel to White/Black, White 2 and Black 2 work best as exactly that, using some data from your White/Black to personalize the story, so if you want to play the 5th generation games, I'd recommend starting with White or Black and then going for its sequel.




I certainly hope not... Pokémon works much better turn-based. We do have Pokémon Conquest on the TBS side, though.

If Virtual Reality gets fully working, traveling around Kanto would be a nice experience.
