[Locked] FAKKU Café v4

It is normal to fear the unknown. As a child we are taught not to fear the dark. However people never truly get over their fear of the dark. The thing is, we have to remember. There are reasons why we fear the dark. Sometimes, we fear for good reason.

The Crescent moon hung in the sky like a malevolent smile. Between an endless forest and grass meadow stood a half-finished brick wall. He stood there, a boy of 7 years, shivering in the abnormally cold summer night air. He stood there facing the wall. The question of what was the purpose of the wall never entered his mind. It didn’t matter at that time anyway. All he needed to know is that he was told to stay there facing it. Not to move, not to speak, and not to look around were the orders forced onto him. “This is a game…” he told himself to keep calm. Those were the words he was told by the person he called “mother” before she left on some urgent business.

Several hours had passed since she left him there. However although he was scared, he wasn’t alone. A boy next to him more than twice his age stood stock still. “How long do we have to stay here?” the young boy asked the older one. The older boy trembled in horror. “You know the rules! Shut up and stand still!” His words were forceful, but in reality he did not speak louder than a whisper. He was scared… “Scared of what?” The younger boy wondered. He turned his eyes from the wall to look up at the older boy. The older boy was visibly shaking and his eyes were shut so tight that it seemed like they would never open again. Just the two stood there quivering in the cold night.

The boy couldn’t comprehend due to his young age. He had completely forgotten that there were originally ten of them there. He didn’t realize that those children which were making so much noise before were now gone. They had got impatient and wondered off. However they were all gone now. The young boy couldn’t see due to the darkness of the night but the area around them was covered in scarlet liquid. The boy that stood next to him was also covered in it. Nor could he see the tears rolling down the older boys face. However the older boy didn’t even make a whimper. He was too scared to make any noise.

The young poor shut his eyes once again. He hadn’t noticed before but he could now hear a faint of sound crunching from a distance away. He didn’t know why but the noise frightened him. His body froze in fear due to this sound.

The sound continued for the rest of night until morning.
