If you wanted anything before this season you would have to tell me what kinds of shows you like
I'm open to anything, but I've been feeling like watching something a little more slice-of-life'y recently. What I liked before that was like that would be Chuunibyou, K-on, Clannad (Yes, Clannad and K-on; I feel your hatred, but I enjoy most all anime). I'm sure there are others, but they escape me currently; very sorry if I'm being too broad.

I would say watch AnoHana, The Disapperance of Haruhi Suzuimya, Welcome To The NHK and Mushishi first.
Seeing how you have watched the Haruhi series before.
I think you will enjoy them. Especially Mushishi.
After that watch The Tatami Galaxy. It similar to Groundhog Day and I think you will like it. And then Great Teacher Onizuka. After that you're free to watch what you seem fit.

I'm probably going to go with GTO and Welcome the the NHK; Ive heard more about them then most of the others, so it pretty much pure bias on my part. I'm might also try and catch Gotchaman now that fuwaruu hypnotized me with those adorable pics.

Also, I've played through Katawa Shoujo, and every time I'm reminded of it I think of this song; Sorry if you think it's horrible, but it just gets stuck in my head every time...

It's the only Anime I've ever dropped. Watched 9 episodes and I just couldn't carry on. There was no character development, it wasn't funny, I don't like the art and the main character's presence is nonexistent. That and the fact that I was promised brilliance by a friend and was sorely let down.

I might give that game a try someday. At the moment, I'm playing the sequel of Golden Sun.
