and can be rationalized, applied to any situation,
and still give in the end a perfect solution.

I recommend you read such a book,
a little at a time, just give it a look,
and I promise you if you are interested,
that your search for knowledge will indeed be rested.

[color=#993300]I honestly think we are putting too much emphasis on graphics. Sure if you are making a series i.e. Battlefield, sure you can uplscale graphics once gameplay has been established. But only if you are actually going for a realistic approach to a game. I just want good gameplay. Now if we found a way to compress graphics, I'd be a millionaire...

[color=#993300]That's my problem. I've worked with photos for some time now and we can compress pictures, but graphics are bitmaps, which are not compressible. We cant get a lot of detail and small file size yet (waiting on quantum computing). And there are games with good gameplay that later work on graphics.

In the end it depends on the game engine.
