The original Muv Luv trilogy are visual novels not anime. The only anime for the series comes from what I consider to be a vastly inferior side story, Total Eclipse. So get the visual novels, not that anime.

and well, with a saga as epic as this one you don't expect it to be short right? I can only give estimates based off of VNDB, Visual Novel Database. Muv Luv Extra and Unlimited are listed as being Long 30-50 hours but I would say 50 hours seeing as they are technically part of one disc. And only got one time rating. Alternative is a seperate game but the legitimate sequel, it is listed as being Very Long, more then 50 hours. The number 70 hours comes to mind for some reason.

[color=#993300]I'm still in school and I don't really enjoy botany. Plus, I'm working on QO theories with a few professors so I can't just drop it. I've invested a lot of my life of approaching "scientific enlightenment" (joke a of quantum phys.) I can't leave now.
