I admit it seems like a nifty thing to do. I've thought about it from time from time too. But I don't get a lot of the.. culture isn't the right word.. practice of it I guess. At least, not here. It confuses me and so isn't too approachable.

I remember when marriage threads were a big deal and everyone was sharing with all sorts of things. Avis, sigs, thread support, etc.. now I rarely see it. It's more like people do it when they choose a favorite person or something.

I've seen people I know are the same gender sharing avis, so I know it's not really gender based, but that's the only thing I really understand about it. ^^;; I mean how does one say, we're sharing now! And what does it mean in terms of F!.. is it like a relationship? A game? Something to do on a whim? xD

Back again. ^_^



I guess it depends on the avatars as well. Split images of couples usually mean more, while friends can similarly use avatars taken from the same source image to show their friendship.

I remember lots of people splitting avis that were friends and many who were in relationships and didn't split avis (I didn't for example, but then again, they were rarely on). There really isn't always a connotation, just that the two are at least friends (I did a lot of the avi splitting since I'm supposedly the photoshop guy >->)

Hehe yeah, I do tend to write a lot. You should have seen my introduction post when I stopped lurking around so much and got actively involved in Fakku's community. It must have been like, 2 pages long or something. It's why I was sent to CTFG in the first place. lol
