So what do you have to do now that's different?
Run the shift, do all the quarterly reports, ensure that the stats meet the quarterly expectations and so forth, all while ensuring that everyone else is actually working and not making mistakes/following instructions correctly, plus what ever else is possibly waiting for me in my inbox. Oh and working on the time clock for my employees.
Do you prefer that to your old role?
Well... I had a lot to do before, just didn't have to be responsibly for any errors made by others. I was only in charge of my mistakes and if I couldn't handle it, there would be a supervisor to assist me.

Sure there's that downside but...

Its not that, well... I never will feel important, but I just don't like being in charge cuz if someone messes up, then I have to be responsible for it.
at least you get paid as a supervisors, where i work there have been 5 times where we had no floor manager so it ended up with the assistant store manager telling me that i will be in charge, so if the staff mess up it comes to me and am used a normal member of staff.
