i licked my cat on the head, this came around when i was messing around with niece and nephews and me telling them they should like him (they are some what scared of him).
The cat didn't even react to being licked.

when they where younger they used to pet him, but not nicely and never knew where or when to stop, and he has swiped at them, so they got scared of him but now they have got older and know the sign on when to leave him alone
