Another thing I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on. Im trying to do a hybrid class for my trooper. Meaning she is still on the tactics damage spec but has all tank gear. Does that sound like a really bad idea?Hmm... You'd probably be better off going for more damage, but it could help you survive better. People likely wouldn't like you much in group content, but for just playing by yourself, I don't see why you couldn't try something like that as well.

Ya I don't do group content, like ever, in any gameIt's not that bad, really, at least not the heroic missions or flashpoints. Operations, on the other hand, can be quite a bit worse and need you to have better gear.

Its not the content it self, its the people. Basically, I don't want to have to go at someone elses pace. I want to play the game however I feel like it and not feel like I have to do something because someone tells me or to fit into some kind of group dynamic.

Especially with those who demand you to skip the conversations, although often they can be reasonable if you explain that it's your first time and you haven't seen them yet.
Well, nowadays with solo modes for many flashpoints and most heroic missions doable solo as well, it's not that bad, I guess.
It always helps if you have a similarly minded friend with you, of course, that can make group content much nicer for you as well. Helped my nephew to play a bit in the summer, doing our missions together. Quite nice as well, especially with him using another computer in the office here, so we could easily discuss what we were doing.

well anyways, I think Im more inclined to finish the trooper, at least chapter one. got a cool outfit, back story, unique gameplay mechanic and now the most boss ass droid yet.

still not sure about my troopers alignment though.My bounty hunter is going to be light side and my smuggler is dark side I know that much. Im kind of lacking on light side people so maybe another of them

Doesn't have to be either. Just choose whatever option seems best at the time.
