Now that I think about it, it's not just the Republic. Even on the Empire's side, the only one who really knows about how the Emperor works is the Warrior. Well, the older Dark Council members would know as well thanks to Thanaton, based on the prequel comic, but that's about it. On the other hand, the Knight is the only player character who learns about the Emperor's goals, not even the Warrior knows these.

Should I pre-order Oculus Rift?
I feel if I get it I'll also have to buy a new gaming PC.

Oculus Rift needs high end PC to run properly.

As of now its a niche product that does not have many uses.. Buy it if you have money to spend otherwise pass.
