Do you have one of those universal signal remotes? That can switch their frequencies so you can make them work with all sorts of tech?
i have LG G3 which comes with remote control app, i can set it up to use with different equipment, got it set for all TV'S in the house, also you can program other remotes to the phone.
programmed the sky remote to my phone

It uses infrared, it has IR port on the top. I can use to turn on/off, change channel/volume.
You can program other remotes, you face the IR port on the remote with the IR port on the phone, then on the remote you hold the button until on the phone says it has it got the signal and saved it.

Cause you can put a camera on it and do some bitching driving at 30-35 mph with an RC. Which is awesome.
