*sigh* I just feel like content creators, like game developers and animation studios are follwing the wrong path. From what I see they generally have a mindset of "Oh hey, we made this amazing creative work of art, and it did really well. People loved it and it was a huge success. So now instead of making another amazing, creative work of art, lets just take the one we have and exploit the shit out of it. Tons and tons of unnecessary sequels, spin offs and adaptations, cuz this is a way better idea."
