My friends mom when I was growing up hates the place. I just get a sad desolate feel from it. Maybe cause it so huge. Is it scary politics and and thugs and stuff?

I've been to Russia. Bit of a shithole if you go past Moscow. Cheboksary looked like USSR never went away from it. But i got used to it though. Was quite pleasant visit surprisingly.

Except forest, which caught fire, swallowing city in a big smoke cloud....
