Hmm... What I liked about the other was the big variety of girls it had/the harem side of it. It's kinda like slice-of-life but with a twist.

Lost a point from me the moment it became harem. Nothing against seeing the various girls, but it could have been so much better with just Miia.

I feel it would be a bit boring with just Miia. Unless they dedicated chapters to different monster girls respectively.

As long as the law required him to resist her advances, there was still a lot to do to keep it interesting. And a nice vanilla romance after the change would not have been bad either.

So far, other than the best known one, mentioned have been Youkai Shoujo: Monster Girl and Hitomi-sensei no Hokenshitsu.

I should also point out from my list 12 Beast. Same author as the harem. Scanlations stopped after it got licensed, though.
