Ufo defense is where hard was at. shit was terrible. if you got unlucky you got nothing for months and then a destroyer ufo
Nothing beats the original, true.
Got the base defense mission in Enemy Within this time, though. Right after sending half my main team for psi testing. And two days before my main sniper had her gene mods finished. Had to do it with one fully upgraded MEC, one Heavy armed with plasma, and a bunch of other guys, mostly newbies, all with simple assault rifles...
