Is it because of Fran? ; - ; she is so adorable though and its hard to find a good image of her so i took it straight from the manga, cleaned the image a bit then set it as an aviHer looks are part of it, although I suspect she'd get a much higher rating with a, as you put it, good image.
I know I have actually pretty cute one of her if only I can find what i did with it...

And it was very close to getting at least a 10/10 then, but something about it kept me from giving it quite that much.
Hell, as you can see from my rating for Ryuu's avatar, I'm pretty harsh even towards my own work.

Well there are a lot with nice art that I could use, but for me its not just about the art its about how the character is portrayed or how it appeals to my tastes as well
sadly finding art of franken fran is very hard, at least decent enough quality and that isn't just taken from the manga itself

I'm actually using my new laptop currently which has like a total of 10 images on it at best, I had to turn on my desktop to get my current avi and he image i linked above lol

I think fran is up there close to Saya actually, though still after all this time nothing can beat my lovely saya
also this laptop is cool, i7, can flip it around and the screen is touchscreen etc etc its pretty epic, think internal HD is only 1tb
