next week work has given me Tuesday and Wednesday off, normal they would split my days off, so i have been having Tuesday and Friday off.
i miss having Saturdays off.

I don't know what happened between the both of you, but i have thought of not interacting with him for a month or so and let things calm down. just come a say hi and if he if he wants a conversion you then interact with him.
and you never know he may miss all the tea you serve him

I believe he said "not interacting for a month", not "harassing for a year". Although I'm not sure how much that would help either since I would not be able to see any changes.

It's been almost a year already......
You should just say hi and how was your day instead of the sitting on lap and hugs, keep things a bit more like how you would see a friend when your out and about, where you keep things simple and short.
Stop trying empress him or trying to get his attention.
