You prefer to use it at work on weekends.

I prefer to use a computer. Remember, I've never had my own. And all my games/manga/anime are here as well.

Well I'd prefer to have all that at home personally. Also basic PCs aren't that expensive.

If I buy one, I want one that will last me long enough. Not likely to happen before I've paid back the money I got for buying the apartment, though, and that will still take until the middle of 2018.

In my experience, PCs last longer (in terms of performance) with the right tools installed. Why when I got my new one last year I bought a few maintenance programs to try and keep any errors at bay best I can.
You'll always get hardware issues though. Burnt out fans, power boxes (went through a few of those on my last PC), you can't help those no matter how expensive it is.

That won't help you when a new game needs a more powerful computer, though.

Why I'm not a PC gamer. You'll be forever upgrading it. Since every few months you'll need a bigger processor.

Well, I've survived with my current machine at work for almost 4 years now, only one game I can't play so far, and our newest computer here has helped me with that. This is why I want the best I can get if I ever buy one, though. Helps me to avoid upgrading for as long as possible.

Well, the specific gaming PCs I've seen for sale are the most expensive by far.

I get confused as to what'll be subscription or not.

I just ignore non-subscription uploads altogether these days.
