It's made by a fan company that did not get the supervision of Typemoon. They made their own design and their own events too, it has nothing to do with the original VN game. Just same name, thats all.

The most important point is that it stretches so far from the original, no Tsukihime fans would ever call the anime an adaption of the VN.

Yet as a standalone, it still receives good reviews, from people who doesnt read the VN.

Normally if you read a VN before hand and see it's anime adaption, you will surely see the anime adaption will be much more inferior, its a law.

Anime adaption of VNs will always be inferior with a few exceptions of KEY's VNs, because they actually follow the VN closely when they direct the storyline.

Well, 1st episode in the anime, and I spilled my drink on a very illogical event made up by the company because they felt like it, and the character design, everyone of them look far from the original design by type moon.
