FAKKU Café v6

How long ago did this happen, I don’t recall see that event.

Ancient history by now. Somewhere in the very first years of Fakku. Didn't even participate the first year myself since it required participating users to have at least 15 posts and that was way too much for me. Second (and last, IIRC) year only had a requirement for the account age (so people couldn't submit multiple brackets from alt accounts), so that finally got me interested as well and finally more active in the forums. First version of the café was born around that time as well, as was the waifu game.

I see, It was before my time and when I was here I was too focused with this place and the rest of ctfg, never really participated in the waifu game until really late. I miss how active this place was in the past...

Well, MoteMote itself was also in pre-split IB, so these days it would most likely end up in CTFG as well. Would go a long way to bring people to the other threads here as well.

Back in the day yes but now I doubt seeing much population growth with the pay to view in place, I mean you could chat here and use other websites for your viewing pleasure.

If it's a big Fakku event like back then and presented on the front page, it could get the readers who otherwise don't really care for the forums (like me back then) more active, and seeing how successful Fakku actually is with the subscription and books (the additional licenses and buying Kitty Media speak for themselves), this could be quite a lot of potential new people here.

I have my doubts about that but maybe trying that could bring more people back here, I mean it’s worth a shot so.

Think you're both forgetting the forums died when Fakku became pay-to-view. That's why Jacob is slated all over 4chan now lol

And no, I don't forget that. That is exactly why I said this could bring new people to the forums from among the new users who for now are only coming here for the subscription but don't have any interest in the forums.

Well getting people to visit a forum with paid content while free sites still exist is never going to happen.

The users are there, though, judging by how well Fakku is doing financially. Just not in this part of the site.

They could visit too socialize with other pervs.

Few people would think like that, though, and rather hide this side of them. Which is why such events would help them notice that the forums have more to offer than just talking about their obvious interest in hentai.

Does Fakku have an official Discord? If it does that'll probably explain it.

But modesty is slowly dying in our society so why not embrace who you are and if people don’t line it they can go soak there heads.


Discord sucks.

IM clients have their good points. I wouldn't be chatting to people to work for Marvelous publishers else.
