Quite likely. Or if the computer still works otherwise, it might also be a faulty temperature sensor.

Job doesn't provide the income for new PC/Componets
I am hitting the threshold of 4 years with this PC
Main Drive (SSD), GPU, Motherboard, RAM and maybe one of the other HDD's are just over 4 years old now
Again, no solid, sizable income to allow upgrading

new pc does have i7 8700k cpu with 16gb ram
just waiting for gpu prices to go down
