Oh are we talking about hair?
Ok, so like my hair is always short. When it grows out a bit it becomes fuzzy, then when I grows more it becomes frizzy and curly.
The longest I've ever grown my hair, I was able to stretch down to the tip of my nose.
I wanted to striaghten, but my hater friends said it was too curly(btw they were guys, not girls)
anyway is there something I can do or use to have straight hair like some girls?

You could get a perm...

We probably had the same thing, just different place where it was done. But yeah, after its ok, but I was told I wasnt supposed to get it wet like a week after the treatment coz the hair might get shocked or something.
But Ill have to say I am freakin happy about it, woohooo.
Gugu, even if its really curly like hell I think it can still be straightened.

Isn't a perm to make your hair curly? D:...?
You can straighten your hair with a straightening iron, just like Ash is recommending, or you could get it chemically treated. If you have really kinky hair
(hair that is extremely curly), you might burn your hair by using a straightening iron. A hair stylist will know how to treat your hair so it won't damage so badly, but yeah, for home use, straightening iron is your best bet.
Ash! Tell Gugu about the chemical treatment and its estimated cost! ^.^!

Cool because my hair is a curly mess when long, which is why I get a haircut every 2 weeks. Send me a PM so I can have some silky straight long hair

Em..... thing is I had my hair straightened when I was on a vacation on another country coz I know it will be cheaper there, well out there I mean converted to USD its like $200 only and it took about half a day!
But well, I guess the price at gugu's area could be different from here too so. I guess just go to a good salon and ask them, or better yet just search online for one that does it and maybe you can just call em to ask for the price?
Gugu... can you em take it? going to a salon hohohhhoo?
But wait, thinking about it, there'll be lots of women there for sure... you might actually like going to a salon instead of a barber. I mean I dont think theres anything fun just seeing other men have their hair cut hahaha
I think the average range for it here in the US is $300-600 depending on length and how curly it is and also if you've had it chemically treated or dyed in the past. If you want to do this dont color your hair

Aren't you of asian descent, ashcrimson? My hair is naturally straight, I've never had to straighten it before.

Here in Singapore, when it comes to hair straightening treatment, most salons go by the length of your hair. It's about $80 - $100 for shoulder length hair
$120- $130 for hair that ends slightly above your bra-strap or shoulderblades and anything from $150 and more if you have really long hair.
I have wavy hair and I've tried straigtening my hair once but it reverted to its original waves 3 days after (in this case, I went back to the salon to complain to get my hair restraighten again). Didn't do much to it eversince.

I don't know much about straightening hair.. my hair is naturally straight.
And I'm usually too caught up with homework in the weekends, ashums. I'm not the brightest of the class, so I have to try hard. >.>
I didn't get that I'm a boy part...

Yeah, I can handle going to a salon, how long does this last for though?

I have a question... do guys start talking to you differently once they figure youre a girl on forums? Like they talk to you more or they get sweet and all?

I have a question... do guys start talking to you differently once they figure youre a girl on forums? Like they talk to you more or they get sweet and all?Well, I usually announce it in the introductions board or whatever, but people are mostly kind to me. I'm not really bothered by it, unless they go and attempt to socialize through PM.
It really makes me go @_@ if a random users suddenly PMs me saying 'if you ever need somebody to talk to, here I am'.

I think it all boils down to whether you are on the same wavelength with another user (regardless male or female) to actually sort of develop that so call internet "affinity". Then again, I'm a believer of kindness begets kindness... so if the menfolk are being sweet it is most likely due to good upbringing ... or not :3 lol

Same for me. I don't like when someone sends me a PM randomly saying things like "hey what are you up to?" or "Wanna chat?". It used to happen a lot more often but all the new users don't know I'm a girl so it has stop recently.

I guess PMs like that are a bit I dont know, like it has a weird feel to it.Yeah really...
Though it did happen a couple times now. Sometimes even random users ask me for my MSN.
For laughs, I did that once. The next thing you know he´s asking for you to appear on cam. Aaargh, the guts!
