I'm really interested in trying one of these "glam bags" that people are getting into, for the free samples and products for only around $10 a month. But I'm skeptical because I don't really get that deep into makeup. Has anyone tried them?

It's basically, once a month you get a little bag/box full of makeup goodies. It could be tester or full size of any toiletries like perfume, makeup, lipstick, lotions, and whatever other random beauty products. The idea is that you can get it cheaply and you may fall in love with one product and become a full customer. That's why the companies participate in it.

I signed up for Beauty Army because you can choose what comes in your box. I want to do Birch Box too, but you have to wait for them to invite you.

Birchbox has been getting worse, according to subscribers. Glossybox is good, but more expensive than the rest. IDK, I just watch what the beauty gurus say, but I haven't subscribed to anything because I just try stuff out in the store, for freeeee, lol. If you don't have a Sephora/Ulta/whatever where you can try things near you, the beauty boxes will probably be a deal.

I've been getting into makeup more now that I actually have a job where people will stare at my face. I treat it like artwork on my face, haha. I actually subscribed to r/makeupaddicts on reddit, which is totally bad for my wallet. =_= I'm seeing new stuff I want to buy all the time.

Hello and sorry to be intruding. I'm not a girl nor am I a girly man, but I had a question to the female representatives of this forum. Even though the activity in here isn't that high it seemed like the most appropriate place since all other topics of the same variety haven't been posted on for 2 years plus.

I was thinking about creating a topic over at "love, romance and relationships" asking for the female perspective. I did a little research and found one already in existence but that hasn't had a lot of participation from the intended demographic. Which brings us to my question, should I create a new topic, necro the old one or just ask here? Also, more importantly, would you, the women of fakku, be interested in participating on it? Because if not I'll just scrap the idea altogether and move on.
