Pretty much this. Doesn't help that my family has like, feminine hatred going back generations...(i.e, my mom hated her mom, and she hated hers, and so on.)

Hmmmm, certainly. I'm actually considering getting KnK ost sometime, since I live in Japan for the time being.

Though I'm currently in love with Tokyo Ravens anime.

I've heard of it and the concept looks good, but I've been so wrapped up in Log Horizon, Kill la Kill and Game of Thrones that I haven't seen it just yet.

It's a pretty crazy country too.


Well, the main heroine is pretty much made out of HHHHNNNNNNGGGGGG. The fights are pretty well-done too. They also manage to give the bad guys legit reasons for spilling their plans; one explicitly enjoying fighting against someone who supposedly has everything figured out, and the other being forced to do so by a curse.

The light novels are a bit better, but mostly because anime has to cut out some of the exposition because of time limits.


I- never watched Game of Thrones really. It always sounded a bit like Dune lite to me, but without all the Messiah future-seeing mindscrew.

I basically got into the show because my bf kept telling me how great it was. The first couple of episodes are not that great, but it picks up and it's not bad now.

Does anyone wear lolita style clothing in japan much?

Not really. Most girls prefer typical Western clothing. Although you can run into a few goth lolitas in Akiba/nearby.

That would be fun to see since I don't think I would wear any lolita clothing outside of conventions, too embarassing for me (>///<)
