I failed most of my exams, didn't really set me back much though.

I'm sorry you're upset. It's just... I've failed so many times in my life despite of what I'm capable of. It really eats away at me when I think of how pessimistic I used to be compared to how I am now. Ever since I perked up, I've tried my best to make others happy too. I see that in this situation, I have failed to do so. If you need to vent at my naivety, go right ahead. You deserve that much.

I;m not pessimistic, I'm being realistic. Some people have the ability to do well at exams, I'm not one of them. Especially when you have to quote 7-8 sources just to pass.

Meh, you go to uni and get some big degree in something you'll probably never get a job in. How it ended up for a lot of people I knew.
Seems to be a harsh reality in our country due to job shortages.

Not about the job or degree, I just want the experience. I'm a dying girl with not much she can accomplish with her time. I just wanna have fun, a few years of doing something I'm interested in and maybe get some form of distinction for doing it.

I know some people do exceptionally well in exams. I can understand the fear with finding sources, but I've never been one who's had a difficult times with tests. The only reason I didn't make it into University was because I chose not to apply. Even then, my lackluster grades from minimum effort could have easily gotten me in. Even if you fail, you might still make it. And even if you don't, life will move on and you'll just pick up the pieces.

Well, that's a better reason I guess. Carry on. I still wouldn't be too disheartened if you didn't get in though.


Yeah was alright. Got some extra jobs done so I'm happy.

I will though...I really want to and if I don't my parents will probably make me get a job to pay rent or move out...and I'd actually rather my disease kill me.


No I won't, maximum grades will land me a shitty university. And That's almost impossible for me to achieve based on how few qualifications I have.

What's wrong with moving out? We all have to move out at some point. Some sooner than others.

Then take what I said after into account. No matter what happens, life moves on. It waits for no one and you just keep riding along with it. You'll find something else to do. Trust me, I've been in your situation before minus the disease. Even so, here I am plugging away to help myself and my family.
