maybe in the west. But there are some butiful older buildings made of brick and granite. My friend who moved here from San Diego pointed out that even the curbs are made of granite and we take it for granted. He also loves the big churches.

Hahaha, no, no I have not! But looking at the architecture from pictures I've seen from family who have makes me say what I say. Architecture out here in the west, like Erin said, is pretty bland. The east is where it's at. Since my sister is now in Notre Dame, she can't believe how archaic it looks. She says people there just walk around like it's nothing, but she is genuinely impressed.

Yeah not much of Oxford looks like that any more, some of the bridges, churches and older institutions do, but they're a minority.

I think that we are just used to were we live. We see a building everyday and don't notice it.

Well, I still want to see it. More than anything, I want to see the University. Also, I guess wanting to see you has bumped up a bit after these past few months. Just a bit, though! ^^
